Australian Commercial Crosses

Its from Australia, cross-breeding  by various types of beef cattle.Among the types involved is Brahman, Shorthorn and Hereford. Young bulls of this breed is easily get in large numbers, and with reasonable price.

Mafriwal

Mafriwal is a dual-purpose cattle breed (for meat and dairy) which is a cross between the temperate Friesian cattle and tropical Sahiwal. The reason for the crosses is to have both highly producing milk and in the same time can tolerate the tropical heat in this region. This cattle is usually black with white patches but sometimes chocolate with white patches do occurred. The Friesian blood is maintained at 75% to 80%. Calving rate at 80-85%. Birth weight at 25 kg. Mature weight at 500-700 kg, this is the best in the tropics.

The Brahman

The Brahman or Brahma is a breed of Zebu cattle (Bos primigenius indicus) that was first bred in America from cattle breeds imported from India. Brahma cattle were produced by cross-breeding Kankrej, Gujarat, Nelore (or Ongole), and the Gir (or Gyr) strains. Brahman cattle are known for their extreme tolerance to heat and are widespread in tropical regions. They are resistant to insects due to their thick skin. Brahman cattle live longer than many other breeds, often producing calves at ages 15 and older.

Mixed types of Kangayan x, Hallikar x, and Ongole from India. Considered as local species, some are mixed with the blood of KK.Milk types also can be customized with cattle breed. This beef breed is colored in white to black and yellow to dark brown. Can live in temperate grasses. Resistant ticks and infection. Mature weight is 280 kg. Child born is between 18-20 kg weight.
